Nope, I just cannot make myself sit down and write when I'm not in that writing mode. I tried working on a fic today, and it's become really bad. Clunky and plodding... I've re-written a part several times now, and I think it just keeps getting worse.

RAWR. Must resist the urge to delete the entire document in a fit of self-loathing.

ETA: Okay. Okay. [pouncepouncepounce] Hold still while I start editing the hell out of you. Your beginning sucks and has got to go.

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean - I can either write and it sounds good, or I can't and it's utter crap. I haven't been able to write squat in weeks, which is driving me crazy because I have 2 half-finished fics I'd really like to get on with.

I've got probably about 10 fics that I'm pretty sure will never get done. Meh.

This is why I generally don't have deadlines in my fic-writing universe. :D

Dude,I'm the same way. I haven't touched my original fic for weeks because I'm just stuck on this one scene I've rewritten like 3 times and it still sucks. BAH!
