Halloween's coming!

I do this to myself every October. Ghost stuff. And I'm the world's biggest scaredy cat! I'll watch ghost stories on TV and then promptly freak out. *g* So I need to share the scare. First, a little mood music - from the first part of Disneyland's Haunted Mansion:

Then ghost cam #1 - the basement! Eeeeeek!

They say there's a haunted library in Indiana...

Abandoned hospital!! *screams*

Okay, I need something safe. Something for kids. Something that has plenty of product placement.

I would *love* to see it at different parks - looks like they're all quite a bit different

I couldn't tell you what the differences are - I'm obviously not very observant! But it has been about 7 years since I've been on the French one, and five since the Florida one. I was at your California Disneyland again this April and had a *great* time!

One of these years I'm going to break down and buy an annual pass

Oh, you should! And for Universal! Have you got one for San Diego Zoo?

Unfortunately if I want *real* coasters (I'm a coaster fiend)

Me too :)

that's about a three hour drive.

Is that Six Flags? I've never been there. But I'll be in Florida next Easter and I think they have one there too. :)

Very jealous. :) Was on a whirlwind tour of the southern states about 10 years ago and was only in Orlando for one day. Ended up going to MGM. Wish I had gone to the Magic Kingdom. And I'd *love* to see the one in France some day.

Hee! Did you make it to the new park? The California Adventure? I've actually never been to that one.

I used to get an annual pass to the San Diego Zoo/Wild Animal Park every year. I stopped a couple of years ago because it was getting kind of old. But now my best friend has an upgraded type pass that lets her bring one person with her for free every time she goes. So I just go with her all the time. :)

Me too :)

Whee!! Love, love, love them! Strap me to the car and launch me out of the station! My favorite coaster: (well, I'm not sure if it's classified a coaster, but when something shoots you up 400 feet in the air and goes 100 mph, I think it's good enough.) Talk about a rush!!

Yep - Six Flags Magic Mountain. Fantastic coasters! And all the LA gangs so you get the fun of going through metal detectors to get in - whee! I have no idea if they have a Six Flags park in Florida. The one park I do want to go to in Florida is Universal's Islands of Adventure. I think that's the one with a sweet-looking inverted coaster. The Hulk or something. *droooool*

Yeah, we did go there. We weren't that impressed to be honest, but it was very quiet so at least we didn't have to queue for things :)

We went there but we drove down from Hollywood and it took us longer than we thought so we only got to look around for a few hours :( The drive through San Diego was very pretty! So many beautiful flowers! ::sigh:: There were these lovely tiny bright pink flowers covering the ground *everywhere*.

I love those things! Have you been on the Big Shot at the top of the Statosphere tower in Vegas? Scary!! It only shoots you up 160 feet but that puts you 1,081 feet off the ground! I would *love* to go on that Superman ride you linked to. Weeee!

Ah, that was still being built when I was last there. I want to go there too. *g*

So many coaster, so little time...

That's pretty much what I've heard about it.

I love all those flowers in the spring!

I haven't been to the Statosphere - would love to!

Tell me about it! :) Talking about stuff like "inverted" and "LIM" make me bounce! ;)
