I meant to do this the other day after I watched Iron Man and Indiana Jones: comment on all the previews I saw for the summer movies.

The Incredible Hulk
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

    No.

You Don't Mess with the Zohan
It might be funny, and it also might be a single joke. I'd probably be more tempted to see it if it was a Cohen Brother's flick. (Secret confession - I laughed so hard I cried during There's Something About Mary.)

The Happening
*is still traumatized from watching the Sixth Sense in the theater* I'll satisfy my curiousity about his twist-of-the-day by reading spoilers.

Get Smart
I want to want to see this movie, but the trailer looked really dumb. I've got a bad feeling about this, Sparky. If the reviews are bad, I definitely won't see it.

The Love Guru
I'm not sure why Mike Myers didn't just make another Austin Powers movie, because this is exactly what this is. Very big PASS.

Wall-E
Awwwww. I hope it's good. I wanna see it.

Hancock
Looks like a blast, and Will Smith is always a draw for me. I'll see it.

Hellboy II
Okay, what? I had no idea there was a Hellboy I. Nor do I think I care.

The Dark Knight
Hmm. This is a maybe for me. I love giving Christopher Nolan kudos for just about anything. I'm sure he walks the dog masterfully. But the superhero thing just never excites me on its own.

The Mummy
Eh, I'll probably see it. Looks like some brainless fun. I'm not expecting the charm of the first 2 movies though, considering Evie's been actor-replaced. (They really couldn't find a British actor? Erg, she's going to attempt the fake accent, isn't she?) But, you know, Brendan Fraser. So yay! And also Michelle Yeoh who I've had a girlcrush on ever since Crouching Tiger.

I didn't see a preview for it, but just felt the need to mention that I WILL be seeing the X-Files movie. \o/

And also in the Coming Soon department, new Futurama DVD June 24!!

I'll probably see The Dark Knight for two reasons. One: it was Heath Ledger's last film and Two: I enjoyed Batman Begins in an 'entertainment value' way.

I'll wait for Hancock and Get Smart on DVD only because I don't see the point in watching comedies in the theater anymore.

The Happening looks good but I think M. Night Shyamalan might have gone to the well a few too many times. I've been disappointed in his last few films and so I'll wait for the DVDs. Nothing has compared to The Sixth Sense.

Hellboy is okay but I watched it on DVD. I wouldn't pay to see the sequel in the theater.

I'll be at the theaters the day The X-files opens.

Oh right! I forgot about that.

and Two: I enjoyed Batman Begins in an 'entertainment value' way.

It's weird. For reasons I can't remember, I never saw the end of that movie.

It really does seem like he's only got one trick up his sleeve. It's kind of like Kevin Costner - at first everyone thought he was brilliant, but when he did more movies people realized that he doesn't actually act, he says lines.

I might be too. :D
