I meant to do this the other day after I watched Iron Man and Indiana Jones: comment on all the previews I saw for the summer movies.
The Incredible Hulk
You Don't Mess with the Zohan
The Happening
Get Smart
The Love Guru
Wall-E
Hancock
Hellboy II
The Dark Knight
The Mummy
I didn't see a preview for it, but just felt the need to mention that I WILL be seeing the X-Files movie. \o/
And also in the Coming Soon department, new Futurama DVD June 24!!
The Incredible Hulk
- No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
No.
You Don't Mess with the Zohan
- It might be funny, and it also might be a single joke. I'd probably be more tempted to see it if it was a Cohen Brother's flick. (Secret confession - I laughed so hard I cried during There's Something About Mary.)
The Happening
- *is still traumatized from watching the Sixth Sense in the theater* I'll satisfy my curiousity about his twist-of-the-day by reading spoilers.
Get Smart
- I want to want to see this movie, but the trailer looked really dumb. I've got a bad feeling about this, Sparky. If the reviews are bad, I definitely won't see it.
The Love Guru
- I'm not sure why Mike Myers didn't just make another Austin Powers movie, because this is exactly what this is. Very big PASS.
Wall-E
- Awwwww. I hope it's good. I wanna see it.
Hancock
- Looks like a blast, and Will Smith is always a draw for me. I'll see it.
Hellboy II
- Okay, what? I had no idea there was a Hellboy I. Nor do I think I care.
The Dark Knight
- Hmm. This is a maybe for me. I love giving Christopher Nolan kudos for just about anything. I'm sure he walks the dog masterfully. But the superhero thing just never excites me on its own.
The Mummy
- Eh, I'll probably see it. Looks like some brainless fun. I'm not expecting the charm of the first 2 movies though, considering Evie's been actor-replaced. (They really couldn't find a British actor? Erg, she's going to attempt the fake accent, isn't she?) But, you know, Brendan Fraser. So yay! And also Michelle Yeoh who I've had a girlcrush on ever since Crouching Tiger.

Zohan -
is that the other Adam Sandler movie this summer? Yeah, I'm not interested in either one, so.This just proves I don't watch much comedy. I just confused Adam Sandler with Ben Stiller (Ben's movie being Tropic Thunder). However, I'm still not interested. The Happening - I don't do horror, so that lets this one out.
Get Smart - Eh. Might be OK, if only to see the Rock doing humor. But I won't be going to the theater for it. DVD rental all the way, baby.
The Love Guru - *shudder* Oh, spare me.
Wall-E - I love the trailer, and it looks seriously adorable. I want to see it in theater.
Hancock - looks interesting. Will wait to see what people say about it.
Hellboy II - probably will see it, but maybe not until out on DVD. Did see the first one; it was OK.
The Dark Knight - Of course I'm going. I love comics; I love Batman, I love Christian Bale, and as someone else said, Heath Ledger's last movie.
The Mummy - Not sure. Loved the first one lots and the 2nd pretty well, and a good proportion of that was Evie as played by Rachel Weisz. Without her, I'm just not feeling as interested. However, seeing the trailer in the theater perked my interest some.
The X-files - *snort* Of course I'm seeing it. Damn you, Chris Carter!

Pretty much my way of thinking.

I noticed they barely showed her at all in the trailer. At least the one I saw. You never heard her speak, and she was always in the background. Probably trying to mask the fact that it is a different actress.
