I feel like I'm approaching normal today, although the Cipro is making me a bit spacey. And I've got a few more days of it to finish the prescription cycle**, which means that I've got a couple more nights of wacky dreams where DT's rubbing his spikey hair on my face. Um...not sexual. Like a cat. Yeah, there's just no way to spin that well, is there?



** Why is it that you have to finish off antibiotics anyway?

ETA: Oh, a bit of research is telling me that you need to build up and sustain the drug level in your body for a certain period of time for it to be completely effective and kill everything off.

And now I know. :D

I guess I didn't realize you needed to give something time to kill it off, even if the symptoms are gone.

Yup. Otherwise, you just breed a bunch of stronger bacteria in your body and maybe pass them along, leading to antibiotic-resistant bacterial infections that tend to kill people. Cheers!
