24 hours after taking any kind of medication and I'm HYPER. Spent about a week with my brain in a fog and now I'm FREEEEEEEEE!!! I've promptly begun squeeing at things, and more specifically...well, you all probably know what I squee at on a regular basis.

And apparently drugged-out!Michelle took up fic reading. I know, WEIRD. And I'm kinda liking it, even off the drugs. Who knows how long this bout of reading will last though. But I haven't felt it at the "I want to get home so I can read fic" level for...about 7 years.

*grins* The urge to spam you with a list of my favorite stories is so, so strong. But I’m glad you’re feeling more like yourself again.

You like the sad angsty ones, don't you? *EYES*

But I’m glad you’re feeling more like yourself again.

Thanks! :D

*blinks* That’s… not how I’d describe my recs list, no. But I guess it depends on what you’re comparing it to. (Did you read “Today’s Not Over Yet”? If that one’s too sad, then yeah, I like the sad ones.)

Actually, I would’ve said that the biggest problem with my recs list isn’t that it’s sad—it’s that it’s static. Almost all of my favorite stories are two or three years old. So there’s a good chance you’ve already read them, back before you stopped reading fic.

I'm actually basing it on every time I think you've rec'd a particular fic to me, it's usually accompanied by "but it's pretty angsty, so..." :D

Fair enough. :D

(I’m not a big fan of pointless angst, but my favorite episodes of Doctor Who are “Father’s Day” and “The Parting of the Ways,” and it shows in the stories I rec.)

I'm so glad you're feeling better. Being sick is bad for your health, you know. Sp try to avoid it in future. :P

But I haven't felt it at the "I want to get home so I can read fic" level for...about 7 years.
And I'm at the stage of "I can't wait until I go to work so I can read fic!"

Will do! :D

And I'm at the stage of "I can't wait until I go to work so I can read fic!"

I used to be able to do that at my old job. I used to be able to do a lot at my old job. But here there's actual work to be done, unfortunately.

Hopefully someday I'll have a real job again with actual work to do. For now, thank heavens for the library and the internet.
