I'm Italian. On the 7th of July, I am to start a summer job as an aupair with a British family. I will be in London for two months.

Family: Why don't you come a couple of days before so we can get to know each other? Say, Saturday 5th? There's the perfect flight that leaves Italy at 7.30pm (Italian time) and gets here at 8.45pm (British time).

Me: *TWITCHES LIKE THE TWITCHIEST THING THAT EVER TWITCHED*

You all think you have it bad? One of my best friends' wedding is late on July 5th. And I'm singing in it. Then they're having a reception with dancing and a pool and an open bar(which, um, none of us is going to be turning down), all supposed to last until the wee hours. Then the next day, there's a breakfast/brunch reception until well after noon. I have to be there for all of it, obviously.

I kind of, sort of did something similar when I decided to turn off my cell phone last Saturday for Turn Left and apparently I got a call, from a friend that wanted to meet up, roughly 10 minutes after I turned it off. But I didn't actually notice this until about 1am that morning. ^_^"
