I think, too, when Davros was tapping his shiny fingers it was making a distinctly similar four-beat.
I just had a listen, and it seems a bit too fast for that. Scared me for a second! :D
Last season, everyone on earth thought of the Doctor at the same moment to save the earth. This year, they're just phoning it in.

And we STILL got glowy!Doctor! Goddammit!
