So I'm down to filling in a few holes in the fic. Getting from Point A to Point B - that kind of thing.

Me: Okay. Walking and talking. And...GO! [pen at the ready]

Rose: Anything specific you want us to talk about?

Me: Not really. Whatever comes to mind.

Doctor: I WANT TO SNOG. Ooh, sorry. Was that out loud?

Rose: [grins at him with that tongue-poking-out thing]

Doctor: TONGUE! Again, sorry. Out loud, I'm afraid.

Me: Not the kind of conversation I had in mind, people!

Doctor: Well, you were hardly specific!

Rose: It's conversation, isn't it?

Me: Barely. Okay, right. You can kiss later if you talk now.

Doctor: YAY! Blah blah blah. Blahdy blah blah blah.

Rose: Yup yup.

Doctor: Bleh? Blah blee blue.

Rose: Ew.

Doctor: Ew?

Rose: Ew.

Me: FINE. Just go make out! See if I care!

Doctor and Rose: WHEEEE! [run off]

Dare I ask what the point A and point B are that you're trying to transition between?

Chips-eating and, um, actual kissing. For some reason they just don't want to talk much first. :D

They could have a conversation about the different types of sauces various peoples on Earth and elsewhere have on chips - including stuff like mayonnaise and peanut sauce and who knows what else...

If this is Ten II and Rose, they could even tangent off into not knowing what any of them are - a whole new universe worth of chip sauces to taste and either be thrilled or horrified by.

I agree, because, even in our universe, the condiments used on chips is, actually, a very important discussion for any potential partner.

Do they have salt and vinegar (malt vinegar)? Ketchup? Brown Sauce? Mayonnaise?

If they have Brown Sauce, do they use Daddies or HP? Are they willing to substitute Mayonnaise for Salad Cream?

Relationships could be made or broken JUST on what someone puts on their chips.

Mine do that too, although it works both ways. They'll be having an angsty moment, and then it'll be CUDDLE TIME NOW? Followed very quickly by SMOOCH TIME. Then one of them will pull out of the smooch and say something plot related and they'll have a discussion about that.

It's like, for Christ's sake, just stick to one thing, damnit, or at least let me write the scene I need to before you change your minds! XD
