It does suffer from that, doesn't it? Like the overly-dramatic music cues. And lots of concerned staring at things. :D

I guess if I were 10 years old, it would actually work but somehow I doubt that was the target audience. I mean, this is the man who created LOST, for Pete's sake! Maybe he is upset he doesn't get to use a lot of CGI there because they're on an island, so he went a little overexcited here. I have a feeling it will be like, "No, don't do that. No, really, just... don't." all the time. :D
