I never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually looking forward to the DW Christmas episode! I'm shocked! :D

Could it actually be a funny episode? A Christmas episode without death, gloom and despair?? But...IT'S CHRISTMAS! :D
Okay, they could still throw in angst, but for now I'm gonna pretend that this is an actual happy and comical episode.
First of all, "the Doctor" isn't actually the Doctor. I think anyone can tell that from the preview. If he was actually a future incarnation, he (DM's Doctor) would have recognized himself. So this is someone who's heard about the Doctor and is impersonating him. Possibly a Time Agent? Don't think he's an actual Time Lord, otherwise the Doctor's spider sense would have been tingling. Or maybe time travel isn't involved at all and "the TARDIS" is just a carriage. HEH.
But I get the feeling this is going to be a loving parody of Ten. It'll be a caricatured version of him. Or, dare I say it, a fannish version of him. :D I expect lots of self-mocking, which could be hysterical!
