I think it may only be for permanent accounts. I've been hovering at 145 for ages, and suddenly, boom. I think they are upping the number of icons for paid accounts, too, though.
I don't think I'm even using all the icons I have now! Not sure where I'm going to find a use for 50 more, but I guess that I'll be able to have one for each and every fandom I ever participated in!
Having 50 more icons spaces is nice, but I have already filled up 30! Really for us permanent account folks, they should give us even more perks, like even more icon space. :)
