What I've learned so far in writing with goldy_dollar and shinyopals:

• I've learned that Opal is the organized one, with plotting, lists, tags and so on. Which is good. Frances and I, on the other hand, like to write scenes and hope something comes together. It could happen!
  
  
• I've learned that deciding to do hurt/comfort is easy until you get to the hurt part. Much trauma in having to hurt a character! *covers eyes*
  
  
• And related - none of us know squat about injuries, and so it's even harder to hurt a character. "What would require surgery?" "A hangnail?" "I think...yes."
  
  
• And I've learned that if you want to write a Christmas fic, you should probably start in September.

*Considers* Well I'm busy all day tomorrow, but I reckon I might be able to get scene 4->6 done in like, a day. Maybe two at a push. I don't know about the rest.

And between us we can sort of edit each others stuff, although we might be able to find a beta if we wanted.

But then, I am quite good with deadlines, aren't I, Miss I'll-forget-to-mention-it's-my-birthday-and-still-want-a-present! :P

I had to get rid of the infection before they gave me the surgery. They cut into the nail bed so that the curved side wouldn't grow anymore.
