So what mythical monster hasn't the Doctor encountered over the years? (I guess I mean ones we're familiar with nowadays like the Yeti and the Loch Ness Monster. There are probably a billion that no one's ever heard of.)

*sighs* I'm still trying to come up with a plot for a fic I've been trying to write. A sequel to my "Signing Up" fic. I feel like I need slightly more than "and they landed on a planet and spent the next 5 hours romping in a field of flowers with a pink unicorn named George. The End."

Ummm, The Jersey Devil? I imagine the Doctor doesn't spend too much time in New Jersey.

I second this. Jersey Devil stories are good stuff. XD

You know, I've heard the name "Jersey Devil" but am not really familiar with any stories. And I probably only have heard of it because of the X-Files. They did a Jersey Devil episode once, didn't they? (Not that I really remember what it was about.)

I've only heard of it through the X-Files as well. They did do an episode: Scully wore a blindingly bad outfit, Mulder ended up in the drunk tank, and the Jersey Devil was actually a dead beast man and beast super model woman with beast kiddies. It was a very interesting season one episode. ;)

Bonus crack: if the Doctor did go to NJ, he could pop in a visit House.

The Doctor meets House. Now there's insanity waiting to happen. :D
