I should be happy since it's Friday, but there is the cranky.

• People seem to be more idiotic when driving these days. I could tick off a long list of how people are being stupid, but basically it all boils down to a ME FIRST attitude. Damn kids get off my freeway!
  
  
• Someone in the office insists on making all her calls on speakerphone. WHY?? It's annoying to the person on the other end and it's annoying to the people in the office.
  
  
• I had a project done at the end of November, and the Supervisor STILL hasn't signed off on it, meaning I have to deal with all the fallout since this involved something that happened January 1.
  
  
• I am creatively stunted.

I'm not doing much this weekend, although I've gotten on a making-and-freezing-food kick. I made lasagna this week and I'm planning on making chicken enchiladas and also red beans and rice.** PARTY! Oh, apparently there's some sort of big football game this weekend too, which I don't even feel like watching for the commercials. MEH.

** Red beans and rice would freeze well, wouldn't it?

I think it freezes well. I think I have always frozen the beans and rice seperately, but that shouldn't really make a difference.

Stupid drivers make me crazy. This morning there were people driving around barricades to drive in lanes that are under construction...because that's good for your car/tires/life.

Red beans and rice! Now you need to make gumbo and etouffee. :D I went to Natchitoches, Louisiana at Christmas and ate at a place that had some of the best gumbo I've ever tasted.

Also, arrange to have someone phone you up for a really graphic, personal conversation and put it on speakerphone. Then get one of your colleagues to sidle up to the annoying one and say "God, people who use speakerphone are REALLY STUPID, aren't they?"

Yeah. :D The soccer kind of football is a ways off from becoming a millions upon millions dollar event over here yet. It wouldn't surprise me if it was someday though. Loads of youth soccer leagues around nowadays.

See, football is actually fun to play, but I never enjoyed playing rugby so I probably wouldn't enjoy playing American football either. As for watching either on TV? NEVAR.

See, football is actually fun to play, but I never enjoyed playing rugby so I probably wouldn't enjoy playing American football either. As for watching either on TV? NEVAR.

I was forced to play flag football as a kid. We didn't really do soccer until high school and then there were other things I liked better like hurdles (long legs - yay!)

Watching any kind of sport is fairly painful for me. Although I don't mind actually *going* to a professional baseball game every few years - there's lots of junk food and you can watch players' butts.

HEH. Whenever I visit one of my friends in Bristol she tries to make me cook at least one meal. It's always pizza. And I always make her kitchen look like a bomb hit it.

She made me make Dalek biscuits once, out of a packet that had step by step instructions on the back. And I still messed it up.

Most hurdles are taller than me! XD Whereas I used to be on my college's football team.

It's more acceptable live. Our college was big on rugby and used to force us all to turn out when the first team played so we looked supportive/intimidating to the opponents. It wasn't the most boring thing I ever did, but it wasn't exactly how I wanted to spend my time.

Ugh. My roommate does the, "have all phone calls on speakerphone" thing. Usually when Im in the living room studying or doing homework. It really bothers me, especially because she feels the need to speak extremely loudly. :/
