The UK is cute with all its snow. Or rather, my flist is cute with all its snow.
I spent most of yesterday cooking and watching House. (12 hour or so marathon on USA.) I've realized I can't watch House a second time. Once I've watched an episode, I can't watch it again. I know the answer to the riddle and so it just feels pointless to me.
Just when I thought we were going to get another boring political episode, we don't! \o/ I really do like the action on this show, and we haven't had much of it lately.
- STARBUCK!! Yes! I loved that she was practically a one-woman force at first. :D And smooching Lee... I always had a feeling that TPTB wanted to wind up with her and Lee together by the end, and their spouses have been conveniently taken out of the equation. Eh, I just really don't care about any of the pairings. Although Helo and Boomer are very sweet with their kid and all. It'd be nice if they could stay together. (Or she's one of the Boomers. It's been this long and I still have no idea which Boomer is which - it's safe to say I'll never learn. People tell me and...it's knowledge that my brain just won't retain.)
- Roslin had a great idea about the wireless. (Baltar was always on Galactica? I guess I thought he was off on another ship.) Although I'm still irked at her. This whole situation was created in the vacuum she left. I hope she now realizes that - her arrogance needs to be smacked down about 10 pegs. She was willing to die and take the fleet down with her.
- Also needing a good spanking is Gaeta. And Adama. And...well lots of people have had their heads up their asses. Zarek's just being Zarek though. (Even after all this time, I still love that Richard Hatch is playing him. And he doesn't feel the need to write bitchy essays on how the fact that Starbuck is a woman is damaging to the size of his own dick. At least that's the gist of what I get from Dirk Benedict's rantings.)
- Will Adama and Saul die? It's possible, but something tells me they'll live. They've got 7 episodes to go yet.

Technically, it's Helo and Athena, not Boomer. Meaning...Boomer came back to Galatica at the start of the war and another 8 was on Caprica with Helo. She then came back with him when Starbuck rescued them and was given the call sign Athena.

I have been trying to figure out where Boomer #1 is, actually. Cally shot and killed her after she shot Adama, but I can't remember if she resurrected into the Cylon fleet, or actually died. I THNK she is with Cavil.

That's part of my problem - all the regenerating and stuff. It's hard to keep track of who is who. So Athena was the one on Caprica and Boomer shot Adama. I'll try to remember that. :D

Yes, I think that is the case. But I can't really remember WHY she did that and that's what is making me wonder if I'm thinking of the wrong Boomer. :)

Nope, you have the right Boomer. If it helps, just think of the one with Helo as "Athena", the one with Cavil as "Boomer" and all the rest as either "Eights" or "Sharons". :-D

Yeah, very rarely is he wrong. And he usually figures it out in a flash of inspiration towards the end of the episode where he's talking to someone about something random and then just stares off into space. :D Happened again last night. It's very formulaic, but it still entertains. For now.

After I read this post, I went online and watched the episode ~~that I missed because my bf flew in for the weekend~~. It was so much better than the previous ep, and I loved Starbuck and Adama! And I almost feel sorry for Gaeta having the illussions of having the balls to lead the fleet, but not really because he put himself in the situation to fail epically.

It really was a good episode! Very entertaining! And I think Gaeta is going to go down hard.

Finally, I was so tired of "I have destiny" Starbuck. It's one of the reasons I didn't watch the first half of the season. But she seems to be back in this episode.

Poor Dee although she made her own damn bed by marring Lee in the first place. And I still adore Anders Cylon or not. As for Kara/Lee ending up together. I would love it but somehow I don't think we are going to get a happy ending with these two.

Sharon is the orginal Sharon that Helo fell in love with on Capria. I've been a S/H girl from day one. And if anyone makes it out of this show with a happy ending it's gonna be those two.

Sam really shouldn't have shot him. Even though Sam shot him out of blind love for Kara and not because he was Cylon. Dee taking her own life was just the last straw for him.
