Today started out as one of those days. It took me about 20 minutes to realize I had my sweatpants on inside out.
House. I think I might be starting to lose interest in House. I know, already! Considering I just started over Christmas and all. I'm still fairly entertained, although this show has a very specific formula. You can practically set your watch to the moment where House gets this look in his eye when he's solved the case. And I'm still not invested in any of the characters, so the whole thing is a bit... *shrug*
Other than that, the episode wasn't nearly as thrilling as last week.
Renee, are you actually paying attention to what Jack does? Please to be noting how he handled Dubaku's girlfriend as opposed to how you handled the Secret Service agent's wife and baby. I'm not saying Jack is a saint, but he knows how to handle people - she doesn't.
1) I fear the Renee shouting match next week. "FEEEEEL SOMETHING!!!!" She's going to wind up kissing him, isn't she? *rolls eyes*
2) I fear for Dubaku's girlfriend.
3) I fear that Larry pales in the awesomeness of Chloe. Now take your criticisms like a man, Larry. (MWAH at Chloe telling Larry to stop obsessing about Jack.)
ETA: (since I don't want to make another post) Okay, I just read this Joe interview, and...
1) They made the Asgard evil? Those bastards!
2) On SGU: "We're focusing less on -- in fact, we're not even focusing at all on going to the planets and meeting the humanoid, English-speaking aliens." But...going to other planets and stuff was what made Stargate fun! It was exploration and adventure! Are you people just going to be looking at the Stargate but not using it or something?
How can they make the Asgard evil, unless there going back in time to what they we're before they evolved or something? I was under the impression they all dies off?
I gave up on Stargate Atlantis, half way through, doesn't look like I'll even be watching the new spin off, thank goodness for the original series movies!
And McKay. See, I like SG-1 McKay. He's an arrogant, unrepentant asshole. Mwah. But SGA McKay has become something completely different, and I'm not a fan.
have you watched the early seasons of house. much better.... right now (especially last nights) it sucks.
On SGU, had to laugh we're not even focusing at all on going to the planets and meeting the humanoid, English-speaking aliens. Isn't that kinda the point of the show? evil asgard that mean the ones who were in SGA? coming over...

I have watched a lot of the earlier ones, and I think I agree. I like the earlier ones better.

I *thought* that was the point of the show...

Yeah they made them evil. Season 5 of Atlantis, the premise was so rediclus. They only reason I watched it was because Daniel was on.
The Evil Asgard (that solved the pesky cloning process) used a device that a quirky Ancient scientist made to stop the Wraith from using hyper space (is that right?) but it also has the bad effect of making Stargates blow up. The Asgard didn't care.
I can't quite figure it out. With SGA I remember them saying "NO ICKY RELATIONSHIP STUFF IN THIS SHOW" or something like that, but with SGU it sounds like it's 24/7 relationship drama in space or something.
I think I'm there with you on House. For a brief time I simply could not get enough of it, and now...I like the characters, but don't really LOVE any of them, and I feel like it's not really going anywhere. House is just as much an ass as he's always been, Wilson is still there trying to steer him right, he's still playing games with the team. And the patient formula is SO forseeable. *sigh* Well, we'll see. But the first blush love phase is over.

I can feel that one coming from 1,000s of miles away and a week in the past, so yeah. *eyeroll* I don't think Renee is boring like some on my flist seem to, but I'm also not all the way in the other direction and shipping Jack/Renee, like others of my flist are. I'm just kind of meh about her.
Also - yeah, there's a subset of evil Asgard. But really, that line you quoted? Gee, guys, thanks ever so much for lowering my desire to watch SGU to somewhere in the negative numbers. *eyeroll*

I just know Jack and Renee are going to have angry 'I'll MAKE you feel something!' secks!

Looks like they're in a hospital in that scene from the preview. I bet there's a supply closet somewhere they could do it in.

I don't think I want to see SGU, looks lame.

She does have one. He's a recent addition to the lineup.

And I just don't understand that quote on SGU. I have no idea what they're going for.
