I wanted to click "sugar" four or five times. Lots of sugar.

HA!! Every once in a while I'll throw a couple of grains (seriously, like half a pack at most) to take the edge off. But I generally like it with nothing in it.

I think the first time I had tea that I actually LIKED was when [livejournal.com profile] taraljc made it for me the 'British' way. Namely, with milk and sugar. I've since made it my hot beverage of choice.

Mmm, tea.

And I will do flavored or Earl Grey on occasion, but not with any regularity.

ETA: Mind you, I don't use sugar, I use Splenda.

I love milk and sugar in my tea. Makes it yummy!

Earl Grey. With splenda and milk. First thing in the morning, directly after I've hit snooze too many times, then hurled myself out of bed and down the stairs to the kitchen.

*shudder* I put in at least two teaspoons. Even if it's in a little Chinese teacup. I need it sweet!

Though admittedly, unsweet (iced tea only) is okay if it's not too strong and I'm really thirsty.

Nom nom nom. I like English Breakfast tea with just sugar. Mmmmm

You forgot the roiboos! D:

I am a tea fiend. *is currently drinking chai with milk and sugar*

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2009-02-24 09:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Heh heh. Well, for the most part I don't have a sweet tooth. Some stuff, yeah, but I don't even really like fruit juice.

[identity profile] javabreeze.livejournal.com 2009-02-24 09:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Mmmmmm..... I love tea.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2009-02-24 09:52 pm (UTC)(link)
I've tried it with milk and sugar before, but I swear I didn't do it right or something. Bleh.

My favorite is actually the tea I picked up at Disneyland - a black tea with apricot and some other flavors in it. Sadly it's already gone.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2009-02-24 09:53 pm (UTC)(link)
I need to figure out how to do it properly. I've tried that before and wound up with something weird.

[identity profile] roxyk630.livejournal.com 2009-02-24 09:54 pm (UTC)(link)
I ticked all of the above? *is a tea freak*

I'll drink some black some with milk and sugar... depends on the type... TEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2009-02-24 09:54 pm (UTC)(link)
Heh heh! I've been trying to drink more tea instead of coffee in the morning myself. Some days I have to break down and have coffee though.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2009-02-24 09:54 pm (UTC)(link)
I like that myself. (Without the sugar, but still.)

[identity profile] intrikate88.livejournal.com 2009-02-24 09:56 pm (UTC)(link)
I had both this morning. Still never managed to wake up. Currently want to go to bed but have too much work (to possibly sleep at all before the end of the week. Dammit.)

Can it be filed under Herbal?

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2009-02-24 09:57 pm (UTC)(link)
I've currently got some Earl Grey going on. Nothing in it.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2009-02-24 09:57 pm (UTC)(link)
I do too. :)

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2009-02-24 09:58 pm (UTC)(link)
Oooh, a connoisseur!

*pats you*

Nothing beats a lovely cup of Typhoo in the afternoon with milk and sugar - I say this as I take a sip :)

[identity profile] rattus-aerius.livejournal.com 2009-02-24 10:04 pm (UTC)(link)
I love tea! I'll put sugar in basic black tea but if that same tea is cold I don't put sugar. No sweet iced tea please! I don't use sugar in any of the other kinds I drink. And milk is just weird. ;)

Have to add that one of my favs is tea, Earl Grey, hot. XD

I have 4 sugars and the tiniest amount of milk. I also let the teabag sit in the mug for a good 15 minutes before chucking it out. I love strong, sweet tea.
