Well, the second MRI went a lot better. Sure I was drugged up, but with the open machine you can see daylight around you. Much better. Results came back and my GP didn't see anything weird, so I'm off to a specialist. I tried setting up an appointment with him this morning, but the soonest he had an opening was April 9. *FLOPS* I'm trying other options.

I've been watching a lot of TV. (I can read for a little bit, but not for very long.) I think I've now seen every Mythbusters episode out there. (My parents don't have cable, but do have Roku/Netflix.)

I just got off the phone with Neuro #3's office and found out yet another test has come back normal. Now they want me to have another MRI (this time of my neck).

I'm just a little frustrated at the moment, sorry.

Call the specialist and ask to be put on their cancellation list for a sooner appointment. I've been to many, many specialists - the wait is always long (actually, 10 days ain't that bad...). I've always asked to be put on their list for an earlier appointment.

95% of the time it works. Either someone else cancels, or the doctor decides to come in on a day they were going to be off, or stay a bit later, or have a surgery that cancels, or some mysterious other circumstance.

You can still explore other options and cancel the first appointment later if those pan out.

Well, crap. I've been keeping my fingers crossed that this one would show *something* or give them an idea. It's the not knowing and trying to figure things out that sucks.

Mom and sisters arrive on Friday for a week or I'd offer to kidnap you for a change of pace.
