I've finally caught up with a couple of shows.

The writers of this show can't seem to have Kim on without having her get attacked by a mountain lion, can they? Okay, so it's not exactly a mountain lion, but still. They luuuuuuuurve to use Kim as victim bait, don't they? It would have been a good enough story for that whole "there's a chance I can save you with stem cells" thing, but they just can't resist victim!Kim. Amazing how this whole plot sprung into being. But 24 wouldn't be 24 if it wasn't ridiculous in that way.

So Tony is pure evil after all, eh? I don't think there's any coming back from this one. You can only claim deep cover so far - releasing a bioweapon to kill thousands is too far. It wouldn't surprise me though if they tried to have us believe he was going after the syndicate.

Oh, and Chloe vs. Janice? Chloe every time. (And there was a "dammit, Chloe!" in this last episode! Perfect. :D)

Side note - I can't help thinking about Spooks when I watch this now. I think Jack and Ros should meet. And Jack and Harry. *nods* Oh hey! Jack would totally be able to get Harry out of Russia! He would!

I've now realized that absolutely everyone on the island is related to everyone else. Penny and Daniel turn out to be half siblings. Miles' dad is the guy from the film. Jack and Claire are half sibs...

You know, I'll be rather miffed if they're able to erase everything through messing with the timeline. It's such a cheat. They're setting it up and I'm not sure if it's because they're smart enough to see the possibility but to smack it down, or if they're lazy enough to really do it.

I still think they could have simply ended it this season instead of doing a S6. We have the answers for most everything now. Even though we don't know what the mechanics of it are, we know basically what the monster is. We know a lot of Dharma's story. And we'll probably learn about Jacob in the next episode. (I've always thought the "ghosts" and stuff had to do with people out of phase with reality. Before I knew about the whole time travel aspect, I was thinking more Philadelphia Experiment, but it's probably people who are temporarily or permanently stuck in a weird time state due to the accident caused by Dharma.)

But what about the kids, like Aaron and Walt? WTF is up with them? And the polar bears. I mean, I guess they're not really a mystery, but why poler bears? And what's with all the Egyptian patterns and the statue and what does that have to do with the women not being able to give birth? And the disease Danielle always kept talking about, that they were trying to prevent by giving Claire innoculations? And who built the mechanism into the island that made it possible to jump around? Lol I feel like they'll never be able to answer some of the crazy shit they made up in s1.

Not to be rude or overwhelming or anything, but I just now caught up on Lost after like 3 weeks of solid watching the entire show, so I'm all screwed up in the head. I think that much Lost in such a short period of time has seriously altered my ability to think clearly.

I'd kind of forgotten about them. The next generation, I guess? It seems like the island is tied to people and their children.

And the polar bears. I mean, I guess they're not really a mystery, but why poler bears?

Because they're cute? :D Maybe...they were looking at their ability to deal with cold weather? Dunno. I think it was more of a shock factor than anything else, without a whole lot of thought put into it. Monkeys would have made more sense, but you'd half expect a monkey to pop out of the jungle.

And what's with all the Egyptian patterns and the statue and what does that have to do with the women not being able to give birth?

Not sure they're related - are they? But not being able to give birth - maybe that has something to do with the energy Dharma accidentally released. Maybe it's toxic in that way.

And the disease Danielle always kept talking about, that they were trying to prevent by giving Claire innoculations?

I'm guessing that was a result of the Dharma screw up. Because it seemed like Miles was probably born on the island. So the inability happened after the accidental releasing of the energy.

And who built the mechanism into the island that made it possible to jump around?

Dunno. :D

Lol I feel like they'll never be able to answer some of the crazy shit they made up in s1.

This is why I'm afraid they'll erase everything and lalala it away.

LOST HURTS MY BRAIN.

Do you have Operation Extract Fic planned out yet? Might I suggest some form of "Hey look! It's a bear over there!"

Well, I'll have to get her to log into her computer first, since she's got that password protected. But THEN I WILL MYSTERIOUSLY SEE A BEAR OUTSIDE HER WINDOW.

I'm pretty sure she'll fall for it.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU WANT, WHILE I'M THERE?

Hmm. Let's see. Could you also find out why there are so many CCTVs? Also, why they're called "chips" when they're obviously "fries." Also, what they heck they would call this (http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/5097/biscuit20from20clinton2bg6.jpg) since over there "biscuits" are cookies.

I'm sure it'll be on her computer, probably in a file marked "SECRET BRITISH STUFF."

Using the fact that British people have CCTV cameras in their rooms and the military can be hacked into by using the password "buffalo", I was able to obtain THIS SCREENCAP of Opal's computer, PROVING SOON WE WILL HAVE ALL THE INFORMATION WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND ENGLAND.

THIS WILL PROBABLY HELP WITH MY PLAN FOR WORLD DOMINATION.

She's mean like that. She totally cackled about her cliffhangers in the middle of a pub.

The biddy!!

(And that really should be posted.)

She told me she was planning on updating on Thursday.

She also said if anyone tries to convince her to post earlier, she will explode at them in a BALL OF EXAM STRESS and threaten to eat their gerbils.

She did admit she may have to buy them a gerbil first.

(I AM TOTALLY STILL FRANCES, BTW. IN CASE YOU HAD FORGOTTEN.)

NOT THE IMAGINARY GERBILS!

Oh 24... I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought "MOUNTAIN LION!!!!" when Kim was in terrible danger yet AGAIN! Seriously, that girl just has a target painted right on the middle of her forehead... and yet the bad guys keep missing.

But Chloe is still super awesome, not only was there a "Dammit Chloe!" But I believe it was followed by "We're running out of time!" Also Renee and Jack hugged, which is almost the same as them ripping each others clothes off and having wild monkey sex in the middle of the investigation scene... almost...

Prez' Daughter is in some serious trouble. She should've known that Aaron was too good to fall for her crap.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2009-05-13 02:34 pm (UTC)(link)
I doubt they'll ever be able to kill Kim. They've gotta keep her around to create drama! :D

And Aaron is awesome like that. The only sad part is that probably she'll end up taking her mother down with her.
