Snagged from [livejournal.com profile] ginamak, and is as funny as it is true. Right down to the patron saint of Liz Lemon. :D

How to Meet and Woo a Nerdy Girl

(Also, I had to laugh at the NPR thing, which is the default radio station in my car, but sometimes I do have to take an NPR break. MWAH.)

Beware, though, of the onset of NPR depression which stems from listening to so much news and sad stories about flooding in Nova Scotia or the inequities facing migrant workers that you become convinced the world is doomed and there’s no use leaving your house in the morning.

Oh god yes. This happens to me all the time. I have to take loooong breaks from NPR (and Frontline--and with Frontline, I find it hilairous that their promo campaign on PBS is basically, "Hey! Do you want to get REALLY HOPPING MAD?!?! Watch our show!") or else I literally spiral in to anxiety and depression. My therapist never really believed me on this point, she thought I was probably sublimating something else, but honestly, as fucked up as the world is, do I really need another reason to have screaming crying fits about how much people suck?

UH HUH. You just need to do/watch/listen to something else for a while. Like goof around online. :D

And thus the recent discovery that my total David Tennant audio collection clocks in at about 4GB. *shifty-eyes*

Oooooor really sad. The jury is still out.

Not in my book. :D

Tip #11: Know what to do in a zombie attack.

Also known as 'the deal breaker.' Because really, how can you truly love a man that doesn't know that the cardinal rule of zombie neutralization is removing the head or destroying the brain?

Exactly! :D

I swear this is the reason I love Simon Pegg.

I find it amusing that prior to my boyfriend, I wasn't one to play video games and now he's gotten me hooked on Mario Kart. He still beats me 98% of the time, but I'm getting there!

I emailed this to him and said he'd get bonus points if he recognized the first photo (of DT)!

Way to go! :D

And he should get bonus points!
