My first almost ripe tomato!! One day it will be red!

And here it is from the other side! Awwwwwwwww.

My tomato plant is loving life on my patio. There are tomato clusters everywhere!

Not bad for a six inch plant I got...was it around Mother's Day? And laugh at those plastic crates all you want. I haven't had a single snail in my plants yet.

Yay, garden love ! I was drooling over a friend's garden this weekend; she's got onions and lettuce and cucumbers and tomatoes and cherry trees all going. It made me hungry. Growing your own food is so satisfying.

I was admiring the tiny peaches on the tree in our backyard the other day. But the squirrels always get to them before we do.

Lousy squirrels! If birds start eating my tomatoes, a net is going over it. I suppose you can't really net a whole peach tree.

Yay!Tomatoes!! And how is your lovely herb planter doing? Has the basil commit homicide yet?

There was a holy war going on in the herb planter and no one was winning! I had to hack off about 75% of it (that pic is post-hacking) and froze it all. I'll probably commit genocide on the sage since I only ever use that during the holidays.

Thanks! I am hidden a little bit, which is nice. I'm facing away from the parking lot, and I look out at a slope with plants on it. It can be pretty quiet back here. :)

I was rather late in starting my gardening efforts this year and my tomatoes are only at the 'have flowers' stage. :(
