I saw that movie with a friend and my brother. My friend and I were all "*FAINTS*" and my brother would cover his eyes and groan whenever there was a pants shot.
I saw it a long while back, but the first time I got most of my friends to watch it there were about five or six of us girls in a tiny dorm room with too much rum and vodka making up a drinking game on the spot.
I think we may have set a innuendo record that night, though this review gives us a run for our money. :D
I saw the movie when it first came out. It puzzled me then. I couldn't understand at the time what most people found so intriguing. At least this review clears that up...
I was so young when I saw this movie that the Goblin Package escaped my attention. Fortunately I became so obsessed with the film I saw it many more times up through my adolescence, and that problem was solved.
I think Jareth and Sarah were the first couple I ever shipped, and they definitely set a trend.

I never saw that movie but I can tell the creatures were designed by Brian Froud. I have a couple of his books. Very cool stuff. :D
