If in commenting on an RTD interview about Torchwood (and only about Torchwood) you bring up Rose and her Mary-Sue-ing ways, you are irrefutably more obsessed with Rose than I am. And I'm a Doctor/Rose shipper.

Seriously. Completely, utterly obsessed. Ten years from now you'll still be whinging about Rose, won't you?

I can definitely understand people thinking she's perfect. It's a bit weird when they obsess over my wife like that, I get worried I'm going to have to jump in and do something about it (which would be time far better spent cuddling Rose... NOT THAT I HAD A ONE TRACK MIND) but I suppose it's no worse than all the strange people who want to kiss me.

I'm not surprised, because it always happens, but I'm still rolling my eyes!

I'm responding in the ONTD thread and people are bitching about his line about devalueing it if he brings you-know-who back with, what about Rose?! And I'm all like (logically), Rose didn't die. One person tried to argue with me, but I used such superior mad logic skillz that she gave up on that.

Oh, and when I claimed how much I loved RTD, I was told "of course because I'm a Rose fan." Knocked that one down with yeah, and a Nine, Ten, Donna, Harriet, Gwen, Tosh, Pete, Wilf fan. Bottom-line, I'm an RTD fan, love his characterization. Knocked that one out. Hah! Take that, Rose-haters hating on my man, Rusty!

It's all the strange blokes that seem to think Ms Vitex Heiress is after a divorce and wants to marry them that worry me. Well, I was only worried when one of them sent a love letter.

Whenever I see stuff about Torchwood and feel inclined to read it in a non TW specific comm, I try to guess how many comments in it'll be before someone complains about Rose. Usually about five...

Seriously, so doesn't work for me though because of all of those characters I listed, Rose is my least favorite of them. I mean, I still love her and all and she's totally awesome-sauce, but I like those above characters better.

Clearly, and I must be a total dimbulb because I definitely more than "mildly enjoy" her. I just don't understand some people. What's the pointing on hating on people because they love a character? It just makes no sense.
