I hate hairdressers, so I only go when I want a style change and not a trim (which is rare) but the last time I went the hair dresser was fascinated. He kept picking up strands of hair and going 'Oh, this one's red!' 'Ooo, this one's black!'.
Overall, though, my hair looks dark blonde on the top layer and medium brown underneath. Looks great if I can plait it so the darker colours are seperate from the lighter ones!
One day I may just dye my hair to get a normal hair colour.
Same here. The bulk of it is dark brown, but it has black, white, red, and blonde mixed in.
That’s actually one of the reasons I’ve never dyed my hair. If I changed my mind, I don’t think my hairdresser would be able to give me back what I started with.
My friend has been my hairdresser for more than 7 years and she always liked my hair blond. My natural colour is a medium brown wich I kinda missed and decided to go back to it. To the horror of my friend I did the colour by myself! It turned out a chocolate brown that everyone (including my hairdresser)and myself loves.
My hair is so dark brown that it's pretty much black anyway. I remember the night my boyfriend finally realized that fact. He had just put new light bulbs in his lamp and we were just lying around and he looks really surprised, and then says to me in a really genuinely astonished voice, "Your hair is brown." And I'm like, "Well yeah," and he goes, "I thought it was black."
Someone once declared that there was a higher ratio of redheads in the pool of Doctor/Rose shippers, so maybe that has something to do with it. Of course, that still doesn't *explain* it. :D
looks at subject line.

Though during summer, my hair develops these natural, slightly blonde highlights at the front. :3
My hair is also big and fwoofy and tends to get messy easily.

According to my doctor, it's genetically linked to heart murmurs. Which kind of made me go o_O.

I am, technically, strawberry blonde. If you really want, you can see me here.
(I look drunk in that pic because I was. It was a wedding!)

There must be science to explain this.

1) the color I was born with?
2) the color it is on a daily basis these days?
3) the color it would be now if I didn't do anything to it?
