1. I'm about half way through Chuck's second season. Still entertained by the show, even though I don't draw little hearts around it like I do with other shows. There is one aspect that has me sighing a lot. Not sighing enough to quit the show, but sighing all the same.
   
   To me Chuck's writers are failing at UST. Not in the chemistry department or dialog, but in the predictable barriers to Chuck and Sara getting together. You'd think that handler-protectee relationship would be good enough to keep that UST (as opposed to RST) going, but just about every other episode you can pretty much expect some external road block to be thrown up between them. We've had so many other love interests (including one coming back from the dead) it's actually kind of funny.

2. I think I've been talked into at least trying How I Met Your Mother. I'D BETTER LIKE IT.

4. I've failed to keep up with Project Runway this year. Lifetime's video player sucks, and so I haven't caught up.
   
   
5. Speaking of video players, is it just me or has Hulu gotten worse lately? I used to have excellent playback of everything. Nowadays it's really jerky, which is very very distracting. I don't mind watching commercials and going the legal route, but at least make the quality decent!
   
   
6. Went into an innocent-looking DW post and immediately found Rose bashing in the comments. SADFACEMICHELLE.EXE

I am impressed by Neil Patrick Harris's evident sense of humor. I hadn't seen a thing from him since he was Doogie Howser, and then I saw Harold & Kumar and HIMYM, and he's pretty funny.

I will say, Season Two is the best season, but I love all of it. Especially the timey-wimey way everything is linked back or forwards to everything else.

I really don't like sitcoms either. 30 Rock is my exception. (And before that, Arrested Development.) But so many people have been talking about it...

I've felt the same way about Project Runway...it's just too cumbersome to follow it and I just haven't. I've watched the first episode and that's about it. But I still love Tim Gunn.

lol, I feel like I could have liked Chuck/Sara if it had been written well. Unfortunately, it was... not. Actually, I find the portrayal of women as a whole on Chuck to be pretty poor, but I slot it in as "intended to be geek fantasy" and sort of move on. It keeps me from really liking it, though.

It's kinda cute, but overall the flashing neon of "YOU MUST NOT GET TOGETHER" is annoying.

Actually, I find the portrayal of women as a whole on Chuck to be pretty poor, but I slot it in as "intended to be geek fantasy" and sort of move on. It keeps me from really liking it, though.

They do tend to do the Scrubs thing of blowing the fan in the hair, and boob cams and like you said - geek fantasy. But fortunately I like the two main women leads.

Honestly, not shipping Chuck/Sarah, but since my heart dies a little everytime I realize it's on NBC because I know Casey/Chuck will never happen it's okay.
