Okay, I think I give up on twitter. Scraps of conversations that you can't link to each other - how do people keep up with it? It's like trying to follow a phone conversation, but in reverse, and it might take you a while to find the previous comment that set off the comment you're looking at. If you can find it at all, that is.

Son: Dad, you have to stop all this twittering.
Dad: I. Am. On. The. Patio. Heh heh.
Son: Yeah, I know you're on the patio.

Peter Serafinowicz (or however you spell his name?) is pretty funny! So is Graham Linehan. Jonathan Ross too in a different, TMI sort of way.

If I haven't been on for a while, I find it easier to keep going further back (by clicking on the 'More' bar) until I hit the last time I was on, and skimming what I've missed.

You'll only get that last line if it's a reply from someone's tweet to another tweet and they used the 'reply' button.

Unless I look at Fred's profile page, in which case I'll see his @'s to everyone. Most of which I won't care about, which is why I don't look much at people's profile pages. I'm following them for their original content, as it were, not the ongoing conversations.
