I was going to comment in every one of my friends journals who posted that "get to know you" thing, but then realized I wouldn't be able to find every last one of the posts and then I'd slight someone by not commenting in their journal when I'd commented in other's...

And about Christmas cards. Um, yeah. I'll blame the whole business of the new job. Of course, the truth is that I can never get my act together *any year* to send out cards.

I always have the best intentions. I even have cards! Of course, here it is, less than two weeks until Christmas and I haven't done a blasted thing about sending *anything* out. *sigh*

I gave up a few years back. I used to do it. Then I realized that 1) I had nothing new to tell from last year so the letter was pointless and 2) I never got it out in time anyway.

I like to send out updated family pictures. Only thing is, we haven't done one yet and hubby isn't thrilled with any of our family shots from Hawaii...

Well, you're pretty much boned then. :(

How about a New Year's mailing? I have a couple of friends that started doing that. Just because it was way too stressful to try and get something out for Christmas.

Yeah, I'm thinking of doing that. I'd like to get a picture of all of us with the new puppy. I just have to get set-up in order to do so. My house is a disaster and my father-in-law arrives next Saturday for two weeks.
