Um... no. This Canadian is handing out candy to all the neighborhood children on the 31st.

(Back in the day, if the 31st fell on a Sunday, some municipalities would declare Halloween to be on the 30th, the Saturday, because God and Halloween are unmixy things, apparently. But even that isn't the case anymore.)

So Halloween is always the 31st, no matter what day of the week it is.

Halloween! I might actually have plans. :D I was planning to stay inside watching the Buffy Halloween specials and feeling sorry for myself, but those plans will probably be foiled.

I would totally recommend going out to dinner on Halloween. You won't have trouble getting a table wherever you go since most people are handing out candy or going to a party.
