I think I'll watch The Prisoner miniseries this Sunday. I never watched the classic series, but am vaguely familiar with the premise. (A secret agent held in a village where everyone gets called by numbers. Very surreal. Lots of trying to figure out what the hell is going on.) I just read a review in the paper that gave it 3 stars, so that's encouraging. I think I'm in the mood for something trippy.

I actually watched The Office last night. (As well as my regular 30 Rock.) Both were funny, but the part that amused me the most was at the end of The Office when Pam joined the standoff. BWAH!! The whole thing reminded me of the gun battles from Spaced. XD

From the new Prisoner clip at Comic-Con, I was not thrilled with the lead actor, which was a shame. Otherwise, though, I think it may be pretty cool. Though I also recommend the original highly, provided you can deal with a little datedness. I'm wondering if the new one will also have an impossible-to-fathom ending.

That's a shame about the actor. And I really should watch that sometime! *adds to Netflix queue*

And what about the Doctor? Are you gonna be watching Who this weekend too?

Oh right. I'll watch that too. :D Unfortunately DW doesn't really get me excited much anymore. Maybe if there'd been a full season to watch and obsess about week after week? And part of the problem is I was kind of underwhelmed by the last two specials.

I think a lot of people feel like that. A year off with only sporatic specials dulled people's squee for it. :(
