Feeling better today. The back is still sore, but at least I can move around and it's not painful all the time. Not sure if it helped or not, but I did jump on the treadmill the last two days - very slow and only for about 15 minutes. Also, I don't feel like I want to jump out of my skin as much anymore, so I'm adjusting to my meds. The worst part about psychoactive drugs are going on and going off. I feel kind of pukey today, but I guess you can't have everything. At least I'm at work.

In other news, I put the turkey in the fridge last night. My $1.38 11-pound turkey. :D I'm happy we're getting a half day on Wednesday. I'm going to bake my pie, cook up sausage and onion (for the stuffing) and put the turkey in the brine. (Trying a new honey maple brine this year.)

On the Doctor Who front, I no longer feel as stabby about the whole thing. I've sort of slid back into indifference. However, it has upped my interest in TenII/Rose. I actually read some random fic by someone I don't know this past weekend. Me! Reading fic!

It was nice to read something fun and happy. In the best of times I don't do angst well. But with all the health crap lately it's gone from "DO. NOT. WANT." to "F*#$ YOU AND YOUR LITTLE DOG TOO." I can't deal with it. Like, really cannot deal with it. Mentally and all. *blows raspberries at Ten and his mountain of emo crazy angst*

So sort of related, I've been thinking about a fic sequel to the one I wrote after Journey's End. I'm still stuck on the "plot" part. This morning I was contemplating the Doctor and Rose leaving the TARDIS, it fading to black, then picking up when they come back after their adventure. It would solve my problem. But then I started thinking about the fact that the point of having a new TARDIS is to have new adventures. Why would I fade that to black? Well, because I haven't a clue what to write (and have tried two different things, both of which didn't work), but...that part is kind of the point. Most the rest of it is already written. BAH.
