It's kind of terrible, but this past May, I caught the whole run of the show on Bravo, and the whole time I just kept pretending to myself that all of the silly things were secretly going on at the actual White House with the current staff. I'd be all "Dude, Rahm Emmanuel totally did that today." And b/c Robert Gibbs is from my town (we went to the same high school, though not anywhere near the same time), I had extra fun pretending he was CJ. His office must be filled with turkeys right now...
