Haven't seen the next part yet.
Maybe the second part goes downhill, but I liked this episode. I wouldn't say it deserves awards or anything, but I thought it was enjoyable. Unlike the Angels episodes, I felt the tension in this. The plot seems pretty much like a redo of "Doctor Who and the Silurians" with Three, but it still kept me interested enough.
Some nice bits about the Doctor in it like the last-of-his-kind stuff and mentioning missing Gallifrey. Also, I liked (in a strange way) that the Doctor screwed up for not paying attention to the little things - he shouldn't have let the kid go for his headphones.
And Nasreen! I think she might be my favorite guest character in S5 so far.
However I'm not a huge fan of the Silurians. In general, I mean. They were in only a few Classic eps, but it was enough.
