Damon professed undying love for Elena, which was a good or bad thing depending on your shipping persuasion. He was also either awesome or infantile or creepy in the episode. All of the above?
Stefan...exists.
People actually turned up at school. (We'll just ignore the fact that they're all in their 20s and 30s because obviously they all look like high school students. Really.)
The fish continues to possess the Doctor Who Companion.
Also, the fish-possessed-Doctor-Who-Companion is a teacher. HUH. How do they tell the teachers from the students if they're all the same age?
No Yeti sightings. (Damn.)
No motor home sightings. (TVD promos fill me with MWAH.)
Elena signs the mortgage. Paperwork hilarity ensues. (Do not her parents realize she's now a property owner? Did you file taxes, Elena? DID YOU? I NEED TO KNOW THESE THINGS.)

LOL LOL as long as you know my opinion was the right one

It is not looking good for him.

THESE ARE ALL VALID QUESTIONS. I can only answer the one about her parents, tho'. The short answer is: it is a tragedy. The long answer is: her adopted parents both died in a car accident, her birth mum was a vampire who just killed herself, and her birth dad is her creepy and estranged uncle who keeps trying to kill her boyfriend. She does have a guardian, though! Her aunt! Who flounced last episode. So that answers that.
I wish I knew more about the tax implications though. It might help me study for my tax exam on Tuesday.

Her dad keeps trying to stake vampires? SOUNDS SENSIBLE TO ME.

I also wonder about the lawn and general maintenance of the property. Also, do Stefan and Damon take turns scrubbing toilets?
Also, I just realized how hilarious it is that vampire curses or w/e are reliant on who legally owns a property. THAT IS HILARIOUS, who drafted up this curse?
Like there was a dead vampire in the basement when the deed past to Elena, right?? So fine, he doesn't need to be invited in I guess because he's dead. But then at the end of the episode she resurrects him. HOW DOES THAT WORK? WHEN HE COMES BACK TO LIFE, WILL HE BE KICKED OUT OF THE HOUSE THROUGH MAGIC AND HAVE TO BE RE-INVITED IN? Or will they just skip over that (probably)? IT IS BOTHERING ME.
Maybe I will ask my flist for their opinion on this.
So what if a vampire came to my door and I invited him in. I'm not the homeowner and my name is not on the deed. Would one of my parents have to invite them in?

They don't. I once had an English teacher, when I was in college, where the first time he walked into class, I thought he was a student.
That was actually one of the only English classes I ever really disliked. We had to read a lot of boring papers about globalization.
But the teacher was hot.

There's a dude named Alric or something like that. All I can see is Adric.

BUT IN A CREEPY AND SLEAZY WAY MICHELLE. It is great though. I love him. Elena's daddy played Sark on Alias and remains great.

Damon never scrubs any toilets so Stefan is always forced to do them all himself. It's a tough life.

Vampires kind of suck to live with.

What Damon was like during an episode seems to depend entirely on the eye of the beholder. :-)
Also, that section of Daniel Jackson's Wikipedia article is kinda awesome. Hee.

But I am very confused about how/when/if he will be invited in.
