To be fair to Bones, the pregnant character had spontaneously gone from NO BABIES EVER to I WANT A BABY in approximately five seconds of dialogue two seasons prior to actually getting pregnant, but they didn't follow up on that at the time. THAT'S PRACTICALLY LIKE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, RIGHT?

I've realized that I don't necessarily care about Robin's reaction, but watching Barney is going to be like a train wreck. It will be difficult to turn away. Also, do we know it's Barney's? Even at the speed they move, I'm not certain enough time has actually passed. Remember, they slept together after Ted met up with the Slutty Pumpkin again, and it's just now Thanksgiving.

That whole episode pissed me off. "Lily, you can't make decisions because you're pregnant and hormonal, so you can't be trusted, silly girl." "We should totally adopt a baby!!!!" "I'm pregnant!"

No storyline untouched by babies. I think babies are okay; I mean, we need them for the human race to continue. But I HATE them on this show. HATE. I do not want a Friends rehash. DO NOT WANT.

This development has made me ridiculously upset. I have no problems with B/R but I have serious issues with this cliched storyline. The two have to mature and decide to be together because of ~baby magic~ or something?? (I don't even mind babies that much, but c'mon!) Just, why?! The show was doing so well for me before this >=(
