I'm learning things! Things that must be shared!

Important discovery! While the Sherlock tv series fic has overwhelmingly pregnant John, the fic from the Sherlock RDJ movies has lots of pregnant Holmes.

Maybe it's the height that determines the mpreg preference?

Jude Law = 6'0"
RDJ = 5'9" = PREGNANT

Benedict Cumberbatch = 6'0"
Martin Freeman = 5'7" = PREGNANT

I'm actually not quite sure what makes for mpreg preferences in fandom. I don't think it's woobieness, since Sherlock is woobied more than John. Maybe John is the exception due to his cuddly jumpers. Because cuddly jumpers = babies?

Is this one of those rigid top/bottom things I've heard so much about? Like for some reason the majority of people think the shorter guy should always be the bottom, which of course means he's going to wind up being the one m-knocked up.

Hmm. Maybe? Although John and Sherlock seem to be fairly equal opportunity when it comes to top/bottom in Sherlock fics.

I think it's body types. Benedict Cumberbatch and Jude Law both give the impression of being weirdly frail, like if you put a baby inside of them they'd snap in half. Martin Freeman and RDJ are sturdier. Good birthing hips.
