I'm a bit disappointed there wasn't more "holy crap, what is this thing called electricity?" in this ep. Stuff like this. And did they mean to make it like Groundhog Day or was it just meant to show how repetitive it all was without actually being an exact copy day after day? Because if it actually was an exact copy, then Henry is the stupidest kid in all the land for needing a book to point out something was wrong with his life. XD

But aside from that, Regina is a spoiled brat. That's pretty much what it boils down to. I'm not quite sure what to make of her characterization at this point, because she spent most of the ep acting like a 5-year-old with tantrums. Any feeling bad from her in the last episode was completely erased by her ME ME ME attitude here - both in the past and in the present.

One more thing - I'm sort of confused by the philosophical morality of this show. So is the whole "black heart" thing a one-way ticket? Or can it be reversed? You'd think if it was possible to be reversed, that showing whole-hearted regret and willingness to take punishment for a crime (death, even) would counteract it. But I suppose some sort of "magic" will have to be involved, which kind of negates any redemption path. Maybe this is why they don't seem to be going anywhere with Regina's characterization? Because being truly sorry for what she's done wouldn't change anything anyway? Meh.
