Netflix just put up The Avengers, so I'm watching that again.
Still love the Tony/Pepper scene at the beginning. :D But it reminded me of something. In the few fics I've read and from the movies, I'm thinking Pepper is actually wicked smart? I mean, obviously not Tony genius level, but probably should be getting a PhD. Is this a mistaken impression? I don't know anything about the comics.
And speaking of the comics and Captain America 2
Are Natasha and Steve an item in the comics? For some reason I thought she was supposed to be with this Bucky person. Or possibly supposed to be with Hawkeye dude. What goes on in the comics? Because it looks like in the set pics of CA2 she hooks up with Steve.
Of course this has sent fandom into angst because apparently 95% of fandom believes Steve and Tony are together for some reason, which is apparently based on comics since they had all of 2 lines together in the movie. Although pairings have been based on less. XD
P.S. The sound levels on the streaming version SUCK. The quiet dialog moments you have to crank up just to hear, and the action moments are insanely loud. Action movies usually have this problem to an extent, but this is especially bad.
