aj has written a fab meta about Tony/Pepper and their relationship from IM1 through IM3. (HEH. First typed "S1".)

And

goldy_dollar is writing Tony/Pepper that includes Pepper and Natasha kicking ass. (Which IMO is the best possible type of IM fic imaginable.)

HOWEVER, she's not writing fast enough (blah blah blah "I may never finish"), so if anyone has any good newish Tony/Pepper recs, I'd love to have them! (I don't keep up with fics in this fandom, unlike the Sherlock AO3 page I check obsessively.)

Netflix just put up The Avengers, so I'm watching that again.

Still love the Tony/Pepper scene at the beginning. :D But it reminded me of something. In the few fics I've read and from the movies, I'm thinking Pepper is actually wicked smart? I mean, obviously not Tony genius level, but probably should be getting a PhD. Is this a mistaken impression? I don't know anything about the comics.

And speaking of the comics and Captain America 2 ( Spoilers for CA2 based on set pics seen on tumblr. )

So I'm searching for IM3 fics on AO3. I sorted by kudos and filtered for anything within the last month. You know, since IM3 just came out a few weeks ago and all.

It's all slash with people who weren't even in Iron Man 3.

Two weekends now, and I just haven't been able to go to the theater to see Iron Man 3. Woe. Partly due to the crazy weather swings (Santa Anas - rain - Santa Anas - rain - hot fog...), my vertigo has been going nuts. So seeing the movie in the theater with loud noises and giant motion has been out. WOE.

I really wish I could rent it at home. I'd be totally willing to pay theater price to watch it at home right now.

aj about Tony/Pepper spawn (where it was mutually agreed that it would be fairly amusing and brain damaging to see them raise a baby human), I now want to see the Avengers throw them a baby shower.

BECAUSE LOL.

There would never be so many inappropriate baby gifts ever. XD

OK, I AM SUDDENLY HAVING TONY/PEPPER CAPSLOCKY FEELS. YES, I SAID "FEELS." (I might have just watched the Iron Man 3 trailer again a couple of times.)

Does anyone have any good Tony/Pepper fic to rec? Preferably something longer and plottier. Nothing where Pepper winds up dead for all of time, THANKS. Although I don't mind angst as long as there's a happy ending. (Tony sometimes needs a bit of angst. It's good for his ego. Well, pretty much everything about Pepper is good for his ego.)

I've perused stuff people rec'd almost a whole year ago. (Maybe my Tony/Pepper cravings happen annually?) Has anything else come along?

Maybe I should just re-read that one fic where Pepper is kidnapped but she rescues herself, as Pepper undoubtedly would do. And meanwhile Tony has FEELINGS, as fanfic is so good at doing.
