Note to self. Never mention the words "Harry Potter" or "Pratchett" in your journal. (Should I tell you I had never even *heard* of Discworld until it was mentioned on someone's journal about a month ago? So tell me. Are there, uh, discs in it?)

AGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!! Heh.
It's called Discworld because the world is in the shape of a disc that revolves on the backs of four elephants which rest on the shell of Great A'Tuin, the turtle which swims through space.
Okay. Surprisingly enough I'm with you. So the inhabitants of Discworld - are they human?
I should probably just go read the books, huh? Am somewhat confused about the books. How many are there? Is there some sort of order to them?
