Captioned Pic + Rant
You hear that? That flushing sound? That's the sound of me trying to metaphorically jam 20 pages of fic down the toilet. Yep. 20 Word pages. And a lot of it was just dialogue yet with plenty of holes. It was going to be a big one. A big fat shippy one. (Although a little bit strange.)
Watched Prophesy again, and am pretty sure it's not going to work now. Sam's reaction to what happens in my story would be *way* off based on what happened in Prophesy. As in it would never happen. And her reaction was what propelled the plot. Well, maybe I can cannibalize it & use parts in different stories. Wouldn't be the first time.

Thanks. Actually, I was pretty sure it was blown when I downloaded it originally. Last night pretty much confirmed it. I think.

I thought about that. But you read it. I'm thinking that Sam wouldn't have that initial reaction - the freak-out one. The woman's just too logical - and knows too much about future realities.
I guess I could re-write it and change that part - would totally change the story, but a lot probably could be salvaged. It's just that her freak-out was so...so DRAMATIC! *g*
I was even going to add your suggestion of them in the woods. :)
