Didn't get much sleep last night.

I had a dream last night that we discovered that Lost's giraffeabear was...a ham sandwich. [livejournal.com profile] elismor and I then debated the significance of the ham sandwich. We took opposite viewpoints, however I can't remember what those opinions were.

The scary thing? I seemed very pleased with the ham sandwich revelation.

ETA: Like Lyta, I may need a ham sandwich for lunch.

Was there cheese on the sandwich?

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 05:20 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm not sure. Maybe that's what we were debating. I would be anti-cheese, of course.

[identity profile] elismor.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 05:24 pm (UTC)(link)

See, and I would be all. about. the. cheese.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 05:30 pm (UTC)(link)
Cheese or no, I'm surprised that ham sandwiches are that vicious.

[identity profile] elismor.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 05:32 pm (UTC)(link)

It depends, I suppose, on how long the sandwich had been trapped on the island.

I once left a salami sandwich in my car over a weekend and, on Monday, it met me at the door demanding its rights in accordance with the Geneva Convention...

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 05:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, yeah. Salami will do that.

[identity profile] diavestra.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 09:02 pm (UTC)(link)
You expect it of salami. But not ham. Ham is naturally so mild-mannered and all. Not temperamental like salami.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 09:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Elis figured it out! It went something like:

1. The giraffeabear is a giant boar.

2. Boars are like pigs.

3. Therefore, it is ham.

There was something else about Locke hunting the boars in there, but I don't remember.

[identity profile] diavestra.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 11:17 pm (UTC)(link)
makes perfect sense to me!

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)
Elis is smrt.

Perhaps this means all you need to defeat the giraffebear is mustard? Or mayo? Maybe you need to smear it on your body? Or would that get you eaten?

I must ponder. *eats a ham sandwich for lunch*

Hmmm. I'd be in the mayo camp. And I'd bet there'd just be lots of licking.

I must ponder. *eats a ham sandwich for lunch*

HA!

[identity profile] lytarules.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 05:36 pm (UTC)(link)
And I'd bet there'd just be lots of licking.

*scoots a short distance away*

There is *always* lots of licking where you are concerned, my dear. We've *all* noticed the licking. I'm not sure this is a valid answer as it would not represent a change from the norm.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 05:40 pm (UTC)(link)
*liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiick*

[identity profile] elaminen.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 08:40 pm (UTC)(link)
Lyta's got a point.. what is it with the licking?

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 09:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, how else do you know what someone tastes like?

[identity profile] elaminen.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 10:10 pm (UTC)(link)
That's an amazingly rational answer, and I understand completely now :P

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 10:17 pm (UTC)(link)
Excellent!

[identity profile] diavestra.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 09:03 pm (UTC)(link)
No! Ham should never be desecrated with mayo! It's mustard or nothing.

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 09:11 pm (UTC)(link)
I do like ham with honey mustard.

[identity profile] diavestra.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 11:17 pm (UTC)(link)
There you go. I knew we could get along!

[identity profile] sparky-girl82.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 07:16 pm (UTC)(link)
curse you and your ham sandwich dreams!....now I must eat one too! LOL

[identity profile] mrv3000.livejournal.com 2005-09-26 07:34 pm (UTC)(link)
HA!

Well, my ham turned out to be in my salad from the salad bar. :D
