I think I'm being watched...

SG-1 is a show about worms. Giant worms. Huge. Who travel through giant stone rings. No, not the JLo kind. Their leader is Jack O'Neill (smart-ass who hears barber voices.) He has the hots for his 2IC, Sam Carter (genius and souffle-maker.) He also has the hots for his geek, Daniel Jackson (archaeologist and completely resistant to death.) He does not have the hots for his alien, Teal'c (150-year-old and perpetually annoyed with humans) but rather has a healthy respect for his manliness and the warrior bonds of the Jaffa.

They all travel with the giant worms, giving them cake...and Jell-O. Much energy is spent trying to get each other to go "fishing." They tried asking the worms to go "fishing" once, but for some reason they were averse to hooks.

There's also the bald guy, the doctor, the new doctor, the temporary new guy, the new new guy, the new bald guy and the new girl. Somehow Louis Gossett Jr. fits into all this, but best not to try and think about that one too hard. Also that dude from The X-Files. He was a worm.

And then they became pirates.

I know! It's like this whole obligation now, knowing that they'll be watching! And if I post something about SG-1, will it be good enough to mention? And if it isn't mentioned, will that send me into a depression spiral? *frets*

ACK!

Um...

I find that the relationship between Daniel and Teal'c is really symbolic of the relationship between the USA and the USSR during the Cold War as can be seen by the constant use of staff weapons and tape recorders.
