This morning I woke up and found out I *may* not be friended by someone who hates Doctor/Rose. Let me repeat - someone who hates D/R might not friend me (okay, gotta pause here - hahahahahahahahahahaha!) And I gotta say...the pain. It's painful. And...more pain. And stuff. How long have I been wandering around fandoms, and anonymity still makes me snicker. You're ALREADY practically anonymous online. I'm "mrv3000." Do you know who I really am? Okay, a very small number of you do. What I'm saying is, why exactly do you need to be anonymous when your screen name is cat920ba27? o_O

Fandom? Cracks me the hell up. Still.

But you know what would *actually* piss me off? IF I DON'T GET MY GODDAMN EGGNOG LATTE TODAY.

ETA2: *Just* noticed the actual post of this, the one where the mocking commenced - DW Anon Meme 2; Doctor Who Fandom Love; A meme to be postive about the fandom. Love on the characters, the stories, the fic, anything you like. Uh huh. Yeah, this is why I am now totally paddling around in my own, and other small, little DW pools. I'm just...THEY OUT-CRAZY ME. Well, those anon communities have amused me for a long time. Like you said, and like a few other people have said on my flist, if we've got something to say, we're gonna say it. I really don't need a mask on top of my LJ mask to do so and quite frankly, I'm surprised anyone does.

I am really sorry you got brought into this. Many in the fandom really hate me (and I am more then okay with that,) and are always looking for ways to start crap. Some of the BNFs came over to sidewalk_doctor's LJ the other day and I am sure that is how they found the comm link. Because it has existed for a while with it not getting mentioned anywhere. I had no idea people scrutinized other's userinfos so closely. A while back someone revealed another private comm on the anon meme and everyone was up in arms about anyone caring that they had a pivate LJ comm, so I want to see if the same attitude will be applied in this situation. Oh well. You know we only have fun in that comm. Nothing nefarious about it all. Just a small group discussing things we like without all the fandom stuff getting involved. I really never noticed that Cat didn't have the main post flocked. She probably didn't either. It was all written in a joking manner that I can't see anyone taking seriously. I hope this doesn't cause you any trouble online.

Oh, I pretty much ignore fandom drama. Used to read f_w a long time ago, but got more than burned out on it - burned out on pretty much all drama. Now will only take a look if someone points it out to me *and* if I'm feeling in a drama mood that day.

Of course, I couldn't help but post when I'm seeing blanket statements about everyone in the community. It's like...huh? Have we met? Do I know you? Followed by the realization that for the most part fandom is batshit and will remain that way throughout the ages.

And I really doubt this will cause any trouble for me online. :)
