I'm thinking the writers threw everything in a blender and hit 'frappe.' They don't have a frickin clue. It's sorta amusing.

That's why I lost patience with it; I'd like to have at least some vague sense that somebody's got a map in their hands, or at least a last-ditch hope of resolving storylines.
