Music recs!
I'm groovin' on Live's Throwing Copper album. Yes, again. Just love it! :)
- I can feel it comin' back again
Like a rollin' thunder chasing the wind
Forces pullin' from the center of the earth again
I can feel it.

Mwahahahaha!! :)
Anything by Patty Griffin. "Living with Ghosts" for edgy acoustic folk, "Flaming Red" for a rocker, and "1000 Kisses" for just plain beautiful.
Cool! (am listening to clips over at CDNow) She reminds me of Edie Brickell.
Del Amitri, baby. For specific songs, look for 'Nothing Ever Happens', 'Be My Downfall', 'Sleep Instead of Teardrops', 'Not Where It's At'... oh, hell, just anything. "Change Everything" is a good starter album.
Oh yeah. Love Del Amitri! :)
Bic Runga is a New Zealand singer/songwriter with a gorgeous, liquid voice. "Beautiful Collision" is her latest album, and a good single. My other fave track from that CD is 'Get Some Sleep'.
She *does* have a great voice! You know, I've heard the name but can't place any songs. She's also reminding me of another singer...but for the life of me I can't remember who. I *love* singers who write their own stuff. Will have to check her out further.
If you like Dead Can Dance, try Caroline Lavelle. And if you like Moby, try Heather Duby.
Will have to check out both. Just was rec'd Dead Can Dance and *really* liked it, and I do have a weakness for some of Moby's songs. Just love what he does with them.
Aimee Mann, Michael Penn, Ron Sexsmith, Maia Sharp, Beth Orton, Matthew Sweet, Kasey Chambers, Grant Lee Phillips, Neko Case.
Oranger, Sunset Valley, Spoon, Beulah, Hammerbox/Goodness/The Rockfords/Carrie Akre, Dealership, Alien Crime Syndicate, Moxy Fruvous, Marah, the Eels...
ACK! This'll keep me busy for a while! :D
And the Suzanne Vega song, "I'll Never Be Your Maggie May".
Don't know it. Will have to check out.
This is me stopping now.
:D Thanks!
