So we're up to S2 in watching all of New Who (in prep for watching S4 this spring.) Which means we're only a few weeks off from THAT episode. That episode that I've not watched since when it first aired.

Um, can I get a note from my flist that says I'm not allowed to watch Doomsday?

mrv3000 cannot watch Doomsday as it contravenes Doctor's orders to avoid triggers for her Uncontrollable Weeping Disorder.

Thank you. Next thing you know I'll be writing 28,000 word fix-it fic and spiraling downward until I'm finally writing babyfic... Oh wait.

I usually console myself with the knowledge that it could have been worse (see: the Julie Gardner-mandated alternate take, or if instead of the beach reaction we'd seen Ten telling Rose he loves her into thin air in the TARDIS and realizing as he's saying it that she's not hearing it).
