I meant to do this the other day after I watched Iron Man and Indiana Jones: comment on all the previews I saw for the summer movies.
The Incredible Hulk
You Don't Mess with the Zohan
The Happening
Get Smart
The Love Guru
Wall-E
Hancock
Hellboy II
The Dark Knight
The Mummy
I didn't see a preview for it, but just felt the need to mention that I WILL be seeing the X-Files movie. \o/
And also in the Coming Soon department, new Futurama DVD June 24!!
The Incredible Hulk
- No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
No.
You Don't Mess with the Zohan
- It might be funny, and it also might be a single joke. I'd probably be more tempted to see it if it was a Cohen Brother's flick. (Secret confession - I laughed so hard I cried during There's Something About Mary.)
The Happening
- *is still traumatized from watching the Sixth Sense in the theater* I'll satisfy my curiousity about his twist-of-the-day by reading spoilers.
Get Smart
- I want to want to see this movie, but the trailer looked really dumb. I've got a bad feeling about this, Sparky. If the reviews are bad, I definitely won't see it.
The Love Guru
- I'm not sure why Mike Myers didn't just make another Austin Powers movie, because this is exactly what this is. Very big PASS.
Wall-E
- Awwwww. I hope it's good. I wanna see it.
Hancock
- Looks like a blast, and Will Smith is always a draw for me. I'll see it.
Hellboy II
- Okay, what? I had no idea there was a Hellboy I. Nor do I think I care.
The Dark Knight
- Hmm. This is a maybe for me. I love giving Christopher Nolan kudos for just about anything. I'm sure he walks the dog masterfully. But the superhero thing just never excites me on its own.
The Mummy
- Eh, I'll probably see it. Looks like some brainless fun. I'm not expecting the charm of the first 2 movies though, considering Evie's been actor-replaced. (They really couldn't find a British actor? Erg, she's going to attempt the fake accent, isn't she?) But, you know, Brendan Fraser. So yay! And also Michelle Yeoh who I've had a girlcrush on ever since Crouching Tiger.

Huh. Didn't know it had a political angle to it. That *could* be interesting.
Hancock: I was skeptical until it got to the press conference, where he's reading (and not particularly convincingly) the statement about how "you deserve better" than the kind of hero he is, without even looking up from the lectern. Something about that grabbed me.
Hmm. Interesting. I'll admit, that part of it is really what appealed to me - a superhero that's not just angsty like Spider Man, but someone who really you don't want saving you. :D
Hellboy II: WHY AREN'T LIZ'S FLAMES BLUE???
*snickers*
Dark Knight: I'm a dork and just keep looking for myself in the parade scenes.
And you WILL point it out if you're visible, right? You know, I'd probably pay to see that movie just for that. :)
Mummy: I'll see it, but I probably won't be happy. Still, as you say, Michelle Yeoh, whom I've had a girlcrush on since she out-Bonded Bond. *happy sigh* Lowered expectations FTW!
*sighs* I'll be a "lie back and think of Mummy I/II" thing, most likely. And she was in a Bond movie? Not that I've seen very many Bond movies. There's just something deeply cool about her.

Yup. The... second(?) Brosnan one. The one with Jonathan Pryce and (briefly) Teri Hatcher. :: checks IMDb :: Tomorrow Never Dies. It's not particularly good, but she's awesome.
