ivydoor for that thought. - Well, basically it all boils down to the fact that Jack and Chloe really really really REALLY wanted to hug each other, but couldn't in front of Bill and Tony. Oh, and an African dictator/evil man has somehow managed to infiltrate the entire U.S. government. However he will be no match for Jack Bauer, for he is awesome.

I am quite difficult to squick these days, I must admit. The only fic I've read in recent years that I've been unable to finish due to being squicked was Doctor/Jenny and there was just something weird about that. NC-17 Dalek/Cyberman? BRING IT ON! XD

EMERGENCY FLUFF REQUIRED
The Doctor pondered for a few seconds. "I think," he said slowly, "we should go to Gletrin." He flicked a lever and busied himself with the coordinates.
Rose bounced around the console to join him, carefully positioning herself to he'd either have to move her or lean around her to reach the handbrake.
"Why Gletrin?" she asked, when he appeared in front of her.
He peered over her shoulder, seeming to realise she was in the way of the handbrake.
"Because," he explained, attempting to reach around her, "Gletrin has a festival of hugging every May. They have parties and parades and everything." He grinned hopefully. "They even tie you together with ribbon so you can't get away."
"Sounds kinky," commented Rose, with a smirk.
The Doctor spluttered and turned a lovely shade of pink.
Rose grabbed his tie and pulled him down for a snog.
"Let's go there, then!" she said. The Doctor nodded, eyes on her lips still. He seemed to have forgotten the handbrake was still on. Rose reached behind her to grab the lever. "I just hope you've got the coordinates right!"
~* Three hours later *~
"You know, I've figured out where I went wrong."
"Oh yes?" asked Rose, raising her eyebrows.
The Doctor tried to look innocent. "I think this is the other Gletrin."
"There's... more than one Gletrin?"
"Yes! It's a big universe; why is that so odd? You accept Barcelona the planet but you won't accept two Gletrins?" He paused and wrinkled his nose. "My nose itches."
"Well I suppose it's sort of similar to how it would have been if we'd gone to the right Gletrin," observed Rose. "We're still tied together. Although in a dungeon. To be executed in the morning."
"Hmm, I had noticed," agreed the Doctor. "If you can reach inside my pocket, I've got the sonic- not that pocket!" The last three words were squeaked, and Rose smirked. "You know exactly which pocket I mean, Rose Tyler," he continued, completely failing to look disapproving.
"If you had the sonic screwdriver all of this time, why didn't you say something an hour ago?" Rose asked, manoeuvring herself within the confines of the ropes to find the pocket he was talking about.
"It's only just now my nose has started itching," said the Doctor, as though that were obvious. "Until then, it was just like an extended hug! Which is exactly what we wanted from Gletrin anyway!"
Rose wasn't quite sure whether to laugh, thump him or free herself and leave him tied up for a bit. When he squeezed her bum (with hands that just happened to have been tied in the right place for that), she decided to go with the latter.
He didn't need the full use of his arms, anyway.
The reminder of *that* fic leaves me requiring D/R fluff. It is really not that often I find fic that traumatic, but there are some things that cannot be unseen.

You are SO right about this. It was in Chloe's eyes. She's missed him terribly. Pining for the Bauer ... okay, that may be a little far.
