But I thought him saying goodbye (sort of) to "his" companions was lovely. And sniffly. Wah.

ETA: I'm glad there will always be a Ten with Rose off in the altverse. Take that, "Doctor Who is about change!" Nyah.

*nods* Me too. In my mind it has to be either family or Romana. Getting inside RTD's head, I could almost see him thinking of Susan or his mother, just because family (and the loss of it) has been a recurring theme.
